wedding shawls

Wedding attire requires no less attention than wedding attire. This ceremony is traditional and for most modern couples it is observed with all strictness. And this means that the choice of suitable attire should not be neglected. And if a lot has been said about a wedding dress and shoes, and for many brides this issue is not difficult, then we know not so much about wedding accessories. In this article, we propose to discuss the wedding scarf — an important component of the image of the bride in the church.

To date, wedding scarves on the head are presented in the respective stores in a large assortment. You can, of course, create such an accessory with your own hands, if you have the talent, or contact the master. In this case, you can count on the exclusivity of your wedding scarf.

If you decide to purchase a ready-made accessory, then it will be useful to know the following subtleties:

  1. A lace scarf for a wedding looks the most beautiful and gentle. He is able to perfectly complete the image of the bride, but you should be careful with his choice. If your dress has lace trim, then a scarf with a different pattern will be dissonant with the outfit, which will be a serious drawback.
  2. For a white wedding dress, it is important to choose a white scarf of the same shade. If the colors differ by a tone or two, it will give the impression that the outfit or accessory is dirty.
  3. Hairpins or invisible hairpins should be purchased in advance for wedding scarves on the head, since this accessory should be well fixed on the head. Otherwise, it will have to be constantly corrected, which can somewhat crumple the ceremony.
  4. For the cold season, you can purchase a scarf with fur trim — this will make your look luxurious, and also protect your head from wind and frost.
  5. If you want everyone to remember your wedding outfit for a long time, give preference to a scarf in a contrasting color. It can even be bright, but as a rule, only the most daring brides decide on such a step.

In order to save yourself from unnecessary trouble on a solemn day, think over in advance how to tie a scarf. Experiment with different methods and find the one that works best for you. Also, you can give preference to a special scarf-hood, which does not need to be tied.
