If you have not yet decided on your wedding image of the bride, then read this article. Chanfashion put together a list of anti-trends and tips on how to do the actual wedding makeup and hairstyle.

Disclaimer

We just cover the latest fashion trends in bridal makeup and styling. Always be guided by your taste and desires, even if they do not agree with the instructions of the stylists.

doll face

The effect of a matte mask on the face, obtained thanks to a dense layer of foundation and powder, is time to leave in the past. Such makeup makes the face flat, looks completely unnatural, and in a couple of hours the situation will only worsen, believe me.

It is much better to use lighter means in the bride’s makeup to even out the tone of the face, but leave the real skin texture in sight. A little highlighter and blush will emphasize the real radiance of your happy face, and will not hide it behind a mask 🙂

Bust varnish

Of course, I want the laid curls to be fixed tightly and please you as long as possible. But believe me: sticky, “concrete” hair will obviously not look advantageous in your wedding look. Luckily, a skilled stylist with a good arsenal of hair products can create a long-lasting bridal hairstyle without this unfortunate side effect.

Together with the hair stylist, make sure that despite the styling products, the hair does not stick together into untidy icicles.

Multi-story hairstyles

Complex, multi-level and varnished wedding hairstyles are no longer relevant. Brides are increasingly choosing simplicity and naturalness, so as not to worry all evening about the safety of the masterpiece on their heads. When choosing a wedding hairstyle, pay attention to simpler and more elegant options: neat buns, delicate curls, braids or brushes.

Active contouring

Very bright face contouring is useful only for stylized photo shoots, where the camera “eats” the shadows from the face. In life, such makeup looks unnatural and rather graphic, and it is not quite suitable for the wedding image of the bride.

It is not necessary to completely abandon contouring — just make sure that the lines are not too bright and clear and do not change facial features too much.

Extended nails with voluminous design

Extremely long nails don’t go well with the bride’s natural look. In addition, such a manicure clearly cannot be called convenient, especially if the design uses a large number of voluminous rhinestones and other decorative elements. Why steal attention from your engagement ring? 🙂

Now in wedding trends, a manicure of a small length with a minimum of voluminous jewelry. But in flowers you can not limit yourself! Nude shades are safe classic wedding manicures, but you don’t have to limit yourself to them.

Rejection of naturalness

Lush false eyelashes, artificial curls, hairpieces — it’s time to put all these ways of “improving” into a distant drawer, especially when creating a bride’s wedding look. The fashion world comes to the conclusion that there is nothing better than natural beauty, so let’s enjoy what nature has awarded 🙂

Graphic eyebrows

Perfectly shaped eyebrows with slicked and painted hairs are gradually becoming a thing of the past, giving way to the trend for more natural looking eyebrows. Therefore, if you were thinking about trying tattooing or microblading, then we advise you not to run after the outgoing trend. Much more relevant in wedding makeup look natural eyebrows, laid with gel.

Massive decorations

In no case do we dissuade you from wearing a crown on such a day if you want to feel like a real princess 🙂 But pay attention: the market for wedding accessories is now filled with more minimalistic and elegant styles. They can become the highlight of the image, while huge weighty crowns will draw all the attention away from your face.
